Yeah, it feels too "Hi, how are ya, well see ya, bye!" which is my biggest complaint with modern Magic. The story is no longer about the planes, they're simply places for the heroes to go. The story they're writing for Lorwyn Eclipsed is especially exposition heavy and it misses a lot.

It's been a while since I read the block novels, but I was always under the impression that kithkin were a hivemind because they share one collective emotional consciousness. I could be wrong though. Still, being compleated might just sever the link.

They did not need to add a mythical Pokémon to explain how the day/night is supposed to work. We didn't need a returning cast of geriatric throwbacks.

This whole set feels wonky.

The art is good though.

Well shit, maybe I'll finish writing my one-shot "Seamen Demons" about a pleasure cruise ship that gets attacked by half-snake, half-chicken creatures called the Hen-tai.
