Looks like only the standalone block case of `@starting-style` is supported now, not the nested one. developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/W...

That codepen seems to use the nested approach.

Overflow menus. Having a single HTML structure of menu items, as many as fit rendered in a horizontal nav bar, the rest rendered in an overflow menu in a vertical list; toggling the visibility of the items per context via CSS alone and not having to mutate the DOM with JS.

- Fuzzy search or tolerance for typos in search/filter fields
- Recently used options show at the top of the list/dropdown
- Escape key closes popovers; arrow keys navigate galleries
- Ability to persistently hide results I'm not interested in

This is so upsetting! I always admired your passion for the web and your prolific demo building. You helped me get excited about the web over and over again. You truly are an inspiration.

If this is how Google treats their best, I have no faith in their other promises.
