Yes 😂. I use the term sometimes when I talk about Active rock since I still follow that scene

You made the point about how Taylor and Morgan got as big as they are by playing both sides, but Bad Bunny did not do that. He kept doing what he did best, even when Drake collabed with him it was 100% a Bad Bunny song that Drake happened to be on.

Actually the more I think about it the better it sounds. They have recognizable tunes, a killer live show, and if you want guest stars, Miley Cyrus, Phoebe Bridgers, and Chris Stapleton all have covered Nothing Else Matters.

I'm loving the direction of the recent Halftime Shows but I'd be lying if I said a Metallica halftime show wouldn't be cool as hell

They kept having traction on the Mainstream Rock charts. The followup to this particular single may have ruined their Alt rock chart presence though

I have a wild stat about this. Red Bull has been in F1 for over 20 years. Now I'm 2001 when Toyota joined they mentioned that they had spent a Billion dollars before they ever put wheels on a track. Imagine how money Red Bull has out in to actually win races in 20 years.

I feel so dumb for not connecting that now 😭

Did Kid Rock say another stupid thing?? Because if not then why are people waiting until the announcement to pull out of his festival, why accept the booking at all??

Wild after how the drummer called Ludacris a coward for pulling out a few weeks ago

Ya. It's a rare case where I think Billboard is 100% correct in their stance.

I think it's a case now where most artists understand how the charts work, and record labels especially understand so promo may not be directed at YouTube. It'll be interesting to follow this in the coming months because it could signal a change from YouTube.

Also idk why I was thinking about this but I also have an answer for the 80s. "Just What I Needed" by The Cars feels right

We are getting another this week by the looks of it. "Turn The Lights Off" by Kato

This is taken on a case by case basis nowadays. If an old song has an active radio push it can re enter anywhere, which was how The Walter's "I Love You So" was able to enter in the 90s a few years ago. There are better examples but I can't remember now

The source of my favorite Norm McDonald joke. "#1 on the Alt rock charts this week is Better Than Ezra, #2 this week.... Ezra"

Very "Murder On My Mind" type situation it seems. Like a pre confession, very eerie.
September 30, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Agreed. It's just fine radio filler to me. I am just tired of it after 2 years of squatting in the top 10.

Whoa!! Lover, You Should Have Come Over is a welcome surprise. Even if I personally would prefer the title track that is really cool.

I had to look this up but Lose Control debuted the same exact week as Rich Men North Of Richmond
