I'm a fundamentally different person than I was just a few years ago, in more ways than just how I look, and nearly every single one of those changes has been the result of a conscious decision to change who I am, hopefully for the better.
It's empowering as all hell, and it applies to everyone.

I used to often find myself thinking, "I wish I was the kind of person...", whether the rest of that sentence was about a personality trait, or a skill, or even just the way I engage with the world, but nowadays I short circuit that thought, and recognize that I can just become that kind of person.

I don't know, I think about this a lot, and I'm not actually sure if it is blackpilled to acknowledge that the world is changing, and that while you won't have the ability to stop that, it is in your control to shape what that means for the people in your community, even if only in small ways

At the same time though, I feel like some of the most good I've accomplished has just come from being there for the people I love and the people they love, and that's something that just falls out of existing in a community.
I can't fix the world, but I can chip away at fixing my corner of it

I hope things turn around in your brain soon! If it helps, if you're anything like me, you've probably collected a group of incredible friends who get it, and won't think twice about you having a bad brain week

Yeahhhh, it's not great. The only reason I put up with it is that my gaming PC isn't used for anything else: I don't even have my password manager on there

I'm not entirely sure, and it probably depends on what sort of transcoding you need to be doing locally! We have our media server running on an old desktop gaming PC sitting in my garage and running debian

We're running both Plex and jellyfin on my cluster, but we also have a lot more computing power than just an rpi, and I'm not sure whether one will meet your transcoding needs or not. I'd definitely try that first though, and then either upgrade your cluster, or migrate to your desktop
