This little cluster of biodiversity. A native oyster, a blue mussel, winkles and seaweed all bound together.

We do a lot of our own restoration of the wild oyster population around the farm so it's always good to see small ones appearing.

Last of the big tides today which means I can put my feet up in the office for the rest of the week. Definitely felt the onset of winter yesterday, we started the tide in t-shirts and ended in woolly hats 🧣

Not all oysters are equal. The perfect ones are teardrop shaped, have a nice flat bottom and a deep cupped shell.

Possibly the best oysters I've grown. I'm really chuffed 😃

Cracking sunset over the estuary tonight here in Pembrokeshire.

Oysters have taken over my life for the last decade. Starting with a project restoring native oysters (Ostrea edulis), I have somehow ended up owning and running an oyster farm in Pembrokeshire.

Its bloody hard work but I love it.
