this is good news, I can finally return to BlueSky, after the 4 months I've been away. It's interesting to think about the timing of them making that announcement was 4 months ago when I left in November, either way I am very positive in this decision. AI learning from art is not a sustainable model

A number of artists and creators have made their home on Bluesky, and we hear their concerns with other platforms training on their data. We do not use any of your content to train generative AI, and have no intention of doing so.

It’s rly bad, they promote ai and now it’s all you see, but what’s worse is when you realise the ai is basically learning from all the real artists and talent, it’s like an insult. I can’t believe they did this omg.
