Played a bit of Faith in Despair by solodev @muddasheep.bsky.social and i had a blast. The game has novelty in its mechanics, great aesthetic and a free demo up so anyone can check it out.

Draft night of SUP, went 2-1 on Pleiades, fun stuff. We were incredibly fortunate that our pod opened the crazy rare Pleiades Marvel!
Whenever such events happen I'm reminded that it's not common practice to split such luck with the rest of your draft pool, do you do it?

I played the demo for this one yesterday and it really pleasantly surprised me! Innovative mechanics and great aesthetics to boot.

I played the demo for this one yesterday and it really pleasantly surprised me! Innovative mechanics and great aesthetics to boot.

I heard a lot of good stuff about Andor, and decided to give it a shot.
The show is incredibly well done. I'm invested in the plot, stakes feel real and the world building is shown through natural dialogue.

Finally took some time off demos and played a game I've been looking forward to for a while.
Viewfinder was a delight to play through. It doesn't overstay it's welcome and it hits the same note as portal and the witness where it stays with you irl after you finished playing the game, awesome 📸📸

I heard next to nothing about this movie, but the animation looked great and decided to give it a try.
It's absolutely beautiful and stunning. If you want an inspiring animated movie, this is one of the best movies I've seen in the past years.

Commons follow these rules most strictly, rares will usually be marginally better and majestics even better. But they still stick to the formula. Some are more powerful, but the expected value per card doesn't deviate too much. So you have a 6 year old game where first set cards are still relevant

Cards in fab all follow the same value estimate, this is clearest with attack actions. Pitch + block + power - cost = 8. The basic variation on the formula is done through card colors. Reds will pitch for 1 but have the highest power (block and cost are the same)

Anyone else find it weird that we had 2 changes to the LL system in the past year or so that both address new heroes leaving too soon (point multiplier and limiting PQ/RTN season points), and as a result heroes will LL even slower than 1-2 years (which LSS said was their goal)

I need to write about this series again, I finished it yesterday and I've not been this happy with a series in a long while (since Breaking Bad probably).
Great tempo, excellent cast, cinematography is on point and the writing together with the overall idea ... simply brilliant 10/10
