Horror author, journalist, fitness junkie. Author of Bringing in the Creeps, Behind the Shadows, Coming of Rage. Active Member, HWA and Maryland Writers Association. WARNING: May start talking about Godzilla at random.
Baseball is in full swing and one of the 10 tales of terror inside my collection "Behind the Shadows" is "Backdoor Breaker," where Creepshow savages the game. All-Star first baseman Jake Puzzella did a rival dirty and he's about to face retribution on a field of screams. Grab your copy today!

What a terrific signing event at Snug Books! Thank you, Ricky and everyone who came out with books already in-hand and for grabbing my older stuff. A hugely entertaining chat about horror and the questions y'all came up with were wild. Absolute blast.

I have to thank Tara from my publisher, Raw Earth Ink, who went the extra mile to get "Behind the Shadows" into the market by my requested release time. Three books we've worked on together, this one has already surpassed my biggest seller thus far, "Coming of Rage," twofold.

About "Behind the Shadows" by The Bedlam Files' Adam Groves, "The stories of Ray Van Horn Jr are drafted with enormous energy and ingenuity, but what really gives them their edge is the author’s Tarantinoesque grasp of late Twentieth Century pop culture minutiae."

Aside from Fridays, Wednesdays are my favorite weekday. New comic book release day when I hit the shop with Matt Heafy's "Chaos Hour" on Liquid Metal for the ride up. I've read comics since 1978, worked in comic retail during the wild and woolly early 90s, and aim to write comics, whatever it takes.

Ratu says Behind the Shadows by Ray Van Horn, Jr. makes a gnarly holiday gift, for yourself or the horror nut in your life. Are you really gonna argue with Ratu?

He is doing quite well. I also enjoyed most of the entries in the Phases miniseries, especially the first two issues, with Benjamin Percy winning out. My pantheon is Egyptian, and I have been a lifelong MK reader since the early 80s. I would KILL to write a pantheon heavy MK story for Marvel.

1989 was totally RULED by the Keaton-Nicholson Batman. The VHS tape was THE Christmas gift to give that year. You never saw so many movie units fly off the shelves to the bottoms of Christmas trees. I remember being gifted three copies that year after seeing it in the theater three times.
