Decided to only do the prompts I'd like to do the most because I am tired and busy aaAaAa
I took a taxi to the address I was given. When I arrived, a large wooden cabin stood in front of me, the outside already decorated with many prized possessions that the Svarr family earned during their hunting trip. As I waited for someone to arrive, I noticed a few other people from the city making their way over here. It seems like I wasn’t the only one who was invited. After a few minutes passed, the Svarr family finally came out. Mrs. Svarr greeted me first, firmly shaking my hand and guiding me towards the back of the cabin. That’s where I met Mr. Svarr. “Glad to see you could make it, Mr. Jill,” he said as he placed his glass of wine down on the wooden table in front of him and picked up his shotgun. “The others will be here soon. My brothers are here too, they’ll be helping us hunt.” I nodded and sat down on a bench, staring at the collection of guns the Svarr family had as I waited. It was clear they had years of experience. Their backyard was filled with all kinds of weapons and ammo. I even managed to spot a crossbow in the corner. It was fascinating just how experienced they all were. When we all finally gathered outside, it was time for the hunt to begin. The Svarr family all grabbed their guns, then looked at us. We were told that we would be given guns for the hunt, but as soon as they grabbed their guns, they all stopped to look at us, the guests. “Weren’t we supposed to be provided with weapons as well?” a man wearing a red cardigan behind me asked, but Mr. Svarr only laughed. “Did you really think you would be hunting with us? After all, for a hunt to go well, we need prey, don’t we? Now, if I were you, I would start running. Right now.” My heart skipped a beat as I realized what was happening. We were not invited here for new opportunities, for a way to bond with the Svarr family. We were here to be the prey. They saw us as nothing else but lowly animals they could hunt and kill for fun. Immediately, I started sprinting into the forest. My heart was beating so fast as I quickly hid behind a tree, catching my breath. I heard a man running near me, screaming for help. His screams were silenced by a deafening bang. The man fell to the ground, blood pooling beneath his head. The Svarr family cheered. More gunshots echoed through the forest, making my ears ring. I knew I could only keep running. I ran further into the forest, trying to get away from the Svarrs as fast as I possibly could. Unfortunately, they were always one step ahead of me. As more gunshots could be heard behind me, I suddenly saw a man with a gun in front of me, grinning widely from ear to ear as he stared me down. “It’s over for you, little bunny,” he laughed as he aimed the gun at me. I stood frozen in place, unsure if running away made any sense now. I was trapped. A loud bang echoed through the forest for the last time as I fell to the ground, a loud and eerie laughter echoing in my head as everything around me turned dark.

There is something in the forest. Every night starts peacefully. I look at the trail cam, watching the wind blow peacefully as the night goes on. The wildlife prepares to rest, or hide from the predators. There is howling in the distance. The forest is alive, even in the middle of the night. Then, the footage hits 2:30 a.m. As soon as it reaches that number, the entire forest goes completely quiet. Eerily, unnaturally quiet. Suddenly, the wind is gone. The trees are stuck in place, not a single leaf moving at all. The sound of insects and animals is gone, too. That’s when It appears. The first few nights, it can only be spotted far away in the distance. The shape of its body almost looks like a human’s, but its movement feels strange. The figure continues walking through the trees, and once it fully disappears from the camera’s sight, everything goes back to normal. The wind blows again, the insects are chirping. The forest is alive again. The next night it happens again, at the exact same time. As soon as the time hits 2:30, the strange figure appears again. This time, it’s closer to the camera than before. As it gets closer, I can see a tall shadow directly behind it, although there isn’t a proper light source for the shadow to form. The figure’s jaw is open, but there is no sound coming out. When the figure appears on the cameras, the forest is quiet. Every single night it happens again. Once it’s 2:30, there it is, walking closer toward the camera, with its strange, jerky movement, then stares at the camera, its eyes dark like the void and its jaw wide open, almost unnaturally. It stares at the camera for a while, then walks away. Yesterday, I checked the footage as always. This time, it was different. After the clock struck 2:30, the camera froze, leaving only static behind. It took me a moment to get it working again. By 2:31, the camera was live again, and there it was. The figure’s face filled the screen. Its head was tilted with its face almost pressed against the lens. Then, the figure slowly walked away again. I sighed with relief as soon as the forest went back to its lively self again. Just like every day, I walked over to my computer and checked through the camera. As soon as it was 2:30, there it was again. This time, however, it felt a bit too close. Its long fingers were pressed against the camera, the tips of its fingers so sharp that any sudden movement could break the camera. I stood up from my seat and backed away a little bit, when I noticed that its eyes were following me. No matter where I stood, its eyes followed. Five minutes passed, and it was still there, staring at me. There is something in the forest, watching me. And tonight, I think it saw me looking back.

I don’t know where I went wrong. She was always such a sweet child. Ever since Maddie was born, she had the sweetest smile. She made our lives so much better, even if there were days when it was difficult to take care of a child so young. Still, she was always patient with us, almost as if she was smarter than we thought and wanted to help us. It was when she was around seven years old that things started getting worse. She began acting out, completely out of nowhere, screaming and crying and hitting me or the people around her. I had to apologize on her behalf so many times while we were outside in public. Still, I loved her. I was worried about her and wanted to know what was making her act this way. I tried talking to her and asking her what was wrong, I tried to regain my trust with her, but she would never listen to me. It was as if she was already an angsty teenager, except she was only seven! It only got worse from there. When yelling and hitting us wasn’t getting a strong enough reaction from me or my wife, she started breaking things in our house. I came home from work one day, only to find all the glass in our home broken. Maddie was sitting in the middle of the living room, playing with her toys. When I asked her about it, her only response was: “It was an accident. I didn’t mean to.” I was really angry, but I refused to take out my anger on a child. Surely it was us, the parents, who were at fault here. We had to have been doing something wrong and I had to find out what it was. I tried looking up information on online forums, visiting all sorts of websites with information about how to deal with problematic behavior, but none of the tips worked. Once again, it only got worse. One morning, Maddie was way too quiet in her room, so I decided to check in on her. I made my way up the stairs and slowly opened the door to her room, assuming she was asleep. As I entered the room, the sight of blood made me stop in my tracks. Maddie was sitting in the middle of her room, playing with her hamster. The hamster sat lifeless in her tiny, bloodied hands. I really wasn't sure what to do with her next. I was starting to become afraid of her, but I refused to admit it, even to myself. My wife and I decided that we would take turns babysitting her until we figured out what to do. We still had to work, so this was the only thing we could do for now. What I wasn’t expecting was to come home from work one day to complete darkness and quiet. Immediately knowing that something was wrong, I ran to Maddie’s room. I ran up the stairs and slammed the door open, but I was already too late. I watched as my own child stabbed her own mother multiple times, not even seeing that I was in the room, as if she was in a complete trance. Only when she finally noticed me did she drop the knife and look at me. I expected her to cry, but instead she smiled widely, repeating the same sentence over and over: “It was an accident…”

“You’re lucky to be alive, miss,” the doctor said as soon as he came back to his office. “You suffered minor head trauma, but you should be fine. Please make sure to take it easy and rest for the next week, and come see me if you notice any changes.” With that, I was free to go. It was an unfortunate fall, so I was glad to hear that it wasn’t too serious. I was hiking, when I suddenly came across a trail I’ve never noticed before. I decided to go ahead and explore, see what I could find. The further I ventured, the denser the forest became. As I walked, I thought I could hear strange sounds, almost like scratching but much more.. eerie, but I decided to ignore it. It was probably just an animal. That’s when I suddenly started feeling dizzy. My head started spinning, the forest suddenly felt much darker than before, I felt lost. It felt like there was no escape from the forest, no matter where I went. Then I passed out. When I woke up, I was apparently found in the middle of the trail I was on before. According to the doctor, it seemed like I hit my head on a rock as I fell. I decided to listen to the doctor’s orders and spent the entire week resting. Everything felt fine at first. I was a little dizzy, but that was nothing unusual. Things got weird when I suddenly started feeling.. movement inside of my head. A strange squirming, moving from one side of the head to another. It wasn’t too noticeable at first, but as the week went on, the strange squirming in my head became more aggressive and frequent. I decided to visit the doctor again. After listening to my explanation, he decided that it was nothing serious. Probably just nerve misfires. He told me to take painkillers if it ever got really bad and sent me back home to rest some more. The painkillers worked at first, but the more I took them, the less effective they became. No matter how many painkillers I took or how much rest I tried to get, the twitching and squirming inside of my head only got worse. It felt like a million tiny legs crawling through my skull, sending sharp pain through my entire body. This can’t be normal, I thought to myself. Eventually, it got so bad to the point where I couldn’t sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night one day with my head throbbing and aching like never before. I gently touched the top of my head to try and calm the pain, when I touched something wet. When I looked back at my hand to see what was wrong, my hand was covered in blood. Panicked, I got up as fast as I could and made my way to the bathroom. I turned the lights on, blinded by the light for a second, before finally getting to the sink. My blood ran cold as I saw my reflection in the mirror. There was a large bump on my head, blood oozing from it without any signs of stopping. I quickly searched for a bandage or anything to stop the pain, but any sort of movement made the pain even worse. The blood kept pooling out of my head and the squirming only got more intense. I stared at the mirror in shock, knowing that there was nothing I could do now. I only watched in horror as the bump throbbed, and instead of more blood, multiple pairs of tiny, black, long legs began climbing out.

I like me a little plot twist
There is someone watching me. No matter where I go, I can feel their eyes following me. They watch me while I sleep, when I’m at work, when I’m out on a walk. No matter what I do, I know they’re right there with me. I could almost call them my bodyguard. Unfortunately, they want me dead. You may be wondering: how am I so sure of that? They’ve been watching me for months now, and there have been many situations when I was completely alone. They had their chance to strike so many times. Well, you see, I can feel them coming closer. They will only be able to strike once they are close enough, and whenever they’re watching me, each time I feel them closer and closer to me. Little do they know, I have a plan. These past few months have been hell for me. I was doing so well in life before they came. I finally found a stable position as a software engineer, I got engaged to the love of my life, and then they came along and ruined everything. I need to stop them. And it’s almost time. I tightly hold onto the knife as I walk through the empty street. It’s getting late, and I am sure they will strike very soon. Lately, they’ve been only getting closer and closer. I can almost feel them breathing down my neck, sending shivers down my spine every single time. I’ve had enough of this. Tonight, I will end this once and for all. The gentle wind dances all around me. The street lights illuminate my path. I keep walking. I know they’re here. Watching me. Waiting for the right moment. I continue walking towards my house, taking deep breaths to calm myself down. My hands are starting to shake a lot as I await their attack. Suddenly, I hear footsteps behind me. At first, they are slow. Then, they suddenly stop, as if teasing me. I tighten the grip on my knife, preparing for the attack. That’s when the footsteps speed up again, getting louder and louder as they get closer to me. The only thing that I can hear is my heartbeat, beating more rapidly every passing moment. Finally, they get close enough to strike. Without any hesitation, I swiftly turn around and stab them. Then again. I let out a loud scream that I’ve been holding within me for so long and continue stabbing them, the blood fully covering my vision. I need them dead. I need this to stop. I win. Once I manage to calm myself down, I drop the knife and wipe the blood off my face, then look at my now-dead enemy. I expected to celebrate, but instead, my heart stops and I freeze in place. In front of me lays my fiancée, her body twisted and bloodied. This can’t be… No! It wasn’t her who had been following me this whole time, was it? Did I accidentally hurt her instead?! Knowing that I won’t ever get an answer to this, I weep as I hold my fiancée’s dead body in my arms.

“The river is flowing so gracefully today, sister,” Aster said as she made her way toward the river. We used to visit this river every single weekend and swim together, racing each other here, challenging one another to duels. It was our safe place, our escape from reality, a place where we swore to protect each other from all the bad things in the world. “Jump in with me, sister! Come on!” she yelled after me before taking off her shirt and wading deeper into the water. I followed after her. A bit of a shock spread throughout my body as my feet touched the water. It was cold. My body reacted strongly, as if wanting me to pull back and leave the water, but I kept going. I knew I had to. Eventually, my body got used to the cold touch of the water, just like it always did. It took my sister less time to get used to it. She’s always been a better swimmer than me. Maybe that’s why. I watched as Aster played around in the water, enjoying her time, until she broke into a long coughing fit. You see, my dear sister suddenly became very sick two years ago. No matter what we tried, it never got better. We tried to go to multiple doctors, tried all kinds of medicine, but it all only resulted in her getting worse. Eventually, we were told to just let her enjoy her life while she still could. What they didn’t mention was the horrible pain and suffering she would have to experience. She would constantly throw up blood in the middle of the night, waking us all up in the process. She’d cry into our mother’s arms, begging God to stop her pain. God never replied. However, what my sister doesn’t know is that someone else did reply. Nature did. The waters whisper to me every single day, telling me what to do, how to make her better. They told me that I was the only one who could do this, no one else was brave enough to do so. To make her feel good again. I knew I would do anything to make her feel happy again. Once the coughing fit calmed down a little, I made my way toward her and gently patted her on the back. Aster looked over at me and smiled sadly, quietly thanking me for the help. She turned away to keep playing in the water, but I stopped her. “Aster, I’ll make sure you won’t suffer again. We came here for a reason today. I promise you will never feel pain again after this.” “What do you-” Before she could finish the question, I grabbed her by her hair and forced her head underwater. She immediately began flailing her arms around, clawing at my hand and trying to stop me, but I firmly kept her head underwater. She tried kicking me, moving my hand, trying to make me let go, but no matter what she tried, I kept holding on tightly. Eventually, as she lost more oxygen, her hands slowly fell back down into the water, and her body suddenly felt heavier. I let go of her hair and watched as her entire body fully sank underwater. My head was overflowing with whispers of the water, thanking me, praising me, telling me that my sister was safe now. I smiled to myself and made my way out of the water, leaving Aster behind. The water will take good care of her.
