I've spent a long time optimizing my speed for comics. I need to be faster because I can only get 1- 1/2 pages of comics done a day, and ideally, I want to get 2-3 done at least. So there's often is no sketch, I mostly only use hardlight layers for shading, i do a lot of gesture practice, etc. etc.

i get bored if art isn't fast 😞. I don't make any individual drawings that take longer than 10 hours. Normally it takes 2-6, i think this one took like 2-3?

I have a weird major, lol 😔. Worth the experience, but it makes finding employers hard. I got a degree in comics, which is my eventual career goal, but it takes YEARS to break into that industry fully, and I've barely scratched the surface.

What a mood 😭 I have a bachelor's and it's about as useful as a dirty sock. Honestly wonder if id get more jobs if i didnt have it.
