Why is making games so hard when you're tired and eepy
I don't care I need to work an "actual" job, I wanna waste my energy writing spaghetti code instead :3

I've seen some talk about using generative AI for placeholders and thought I might add something to the discussion.

You don't need to use a giant database to make a temporary texture, model or whatnot. It's a placeholder. Who cares if it's pretty? My placeholder was a stickman made in paint!

So look man if we're just gonna be online here watching all these big studios come out and lay down on the tracks about Gen AI going "I have to do this for some reason." then I think it's more important than ever to celebrate games from based devs who are out here openly posting "Nuh uh, fuck that."

I remember a silly comic about Donald duck trying to find a job on alien planets. Back then I didn't think much of him struggling as a cashier in a robot society (he had to calculate everything in his head) but nowadays it feels like it was a story about lack of accomodations for people who need it.

It's weird how mental health is important because it can completely ruin our ability to function, but at the same time everyone ignores it and excepts you to toughen up. It's like telling someone with a broken leg to suck it up and join a marathon.

Also therapy's hella expensive, whyyy ;-;

So, the EU C̶h̶a̶t̶ ̵c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶o̶l̶ big brother law has passed. How long until we get thousands of false positive reports, data leaks and news about these laws being abused? All for the sake of the children's safety of course, which is why EU politicians are exempt from the invigilation. Safety. #SaveSpeech

The European Council has agreed on a version of Chat Control with "voluntary" scanning that it wishes to push forward in 2026: www.patrick-breyer.de/en/reality-c...

Obviously, it's still just Big Brother and needs to be fought. Keep calling your reps: fightchatcontrol.eu
Reality Check: EU Council Chat Control Vote is Not a Retreat, But a Green Light for Indiscriminate Mass Surveillance and the End of Right to Communicate Anonymously
Contrary to headlines suggesting the EU has "backed away" from Chat Control, the negotiating mandate endorsed today by EU ambassadors in a close split vote paves the way for a permanent infrastructure...

Been doodling a bit and realized my ability to draw facial expressions has been improving. I really hope that one day I'll be happy with my drawings skills #drawing #furry
