The Reds have a big series against the Brew Crew this weekend. They've not been swept in a series this year, that may change. Good opportunity for the NYM to widen the lead for the last WC spot.

I literally watched that today and I LOVE that scene. I think Ray Charles amazing rendition of America The Beautiful adds to it. I watch that movie every 4th of July.

My son's high school in Ohio banned phone--he excelled in his classes, his anxiety decreased and he told me he appreciated the mandatory break from his phone. I was shocked actually. However, some kids reacted like they were detoxing from a drug. Phones are weird, man.

I think they're self aware they just don't care because they know no one is going to do anything to them. They're operating like this because there will be ZERO repercussions, which actually infuriates me more than them just not being self-aware.

I still consider "Dulcinea" by Toad the Wet Sprocket one of my favorite albums of all time. "Crowing" is just such a great song.
