Maybe I misunderstand you because English is not my first language but don’t you use the option that is marked here.

I can download games on my third and fourth console even if they are only connected via a digital licensing system. Just use the option to only download the files.

If you really want a complete Kirby video game collection then you should buy the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition retail release as well or you might regret it once it’s not available anymore . If you plan to buy the upgrade pack first you can wait until the retail versions gets a bit cheaper.
