#TimeTravelAuthors Nov 11: Does time ever fly?

Time certainly flew for this tree, along with flying leaves.
Dave reached behind them and placed his hand against the trunk of the bare tree towering over them. Just as suddenly as his broken blade flashed to full, the tree he was touching burst back into life, unfurling fluttering green above them. With his focus on the tree, he didn't notice Homura reaching for his hand until her fingers closed around him. His fingers were holding the timeline so taut that when she tugged, he was too slow to loosen his fingers and pulled even more of the future into the present, causing the leaves to flash to red in an instant, then come tumbling down around them in the next. He loosened his grip and let the timeline slowly right itself.

#TimeTravelAuthors Nov 9: Strangest research.

Since Dave is trying all the outlandish food he can get at a Japanese convenience store, I researched and wrote about the most wacky potato chip flavours I could find.
Now that she was paying attention to the flavors, she realized that he was trying flavors that would be exotic to him - seaweed and salt, teriyaki chicken, soy sauce, as well as the flavors that were definitely exotic, like the avocado salad she had just handed him. With that in mind, she picked out the honey butter chips, earning herself an eyebrow raise, but it was successfully added to the potato chip heap. Emboldened, she picked out more flavors that she personally would have preferred in rice balls rather than potato chips. They all passed Strider's strange standards.

My characters are so un-sporty that they don't even recognise a baseball stadium when they're in one:
Jade had teleported them to the middle of a stadium, where they played whatever sport it was that needed paths forming a weird rounded off cone, like the widest ice cream cone in existence, and a metal cage at one end. Dave stuck to the grassy bits, even though he was a little curious about the mound in the middle of the ice cream cone that Jade had initially teleported them to.

For #madoka_exedra #magiaexedra I just got Halloween Mami so I'm still in Halloween mode... and frantically grinding for in game currency to prepare for Xmas characters.

Her stockings are one solid black, the other being ribbons wound around her leg. The pink sweet wrappers on her skirt look suspiciously like the heads of the plushies that are copies of Bebe from Madoka Magica.

#TimeTravelAuthors Nov 3: Time travel forward?

Both Dave and Homura fast forward time in my story. Dave describes how it feels:
Instead of time catching on his timetables during a rewind, fast forwarding felt more like a slide, like a skateboard going down a ramp until enough of a time differential had built and speed started to come into things. As long as the board felt like it was under their feet, it should be fine.

Thanks to a tug-of-war over a door, Dave may have time travelled to a year after he left Earth. He didn't remember there being magical girls before. Especially a magical girl who can also travel in time.

I got lucky in #madoka_exedra #magiaexedra to pull Halloween Mami on the side account made to pull OG Mami.

Found out that it's possible to try and make Bebe jealous of Bebe in camera mode.
Magia Exedra's camera mode, with the settings changed so that the background is Halloween special edition of Charlotte's boss, the character posing is Halloween Mami with Bebe, and another Bebe on the ground, glaring at the Bebe on Mami's shoulder.

Yup, Dave has a variety of descriptions he cycles through, including the Pokemon one.
Dave stared. "Ain't got a pen and haven't seen any fucking paper or fine print. What, is he a lawyer on top of being a mind-reading smart-talking Pokemon? Man, Japan is crazy." "That doesn't matter." She looked strangely relieved. "When he's not making contracts, he's tolerable." I don't understand, said the creature, head tilted to one side to regard the both of them.

Moment I arrive I gotta share the limelight. Fucking figures.
Except for the record skip of one student stepping out of the crowd to approach him. A student who happened to be a girl. Specifically a girl with amazing legs, cool expression, silky black hair held back with a ribbon in Dave's favorite red, like a gift-wrapped version of boy meets girl from actual rom-coms, not the shitty troll knock offs from Karkat's illicit stash. As far as temporary distractions went, Dave could do worse. Then the girl spoke, and the moment wasn't a simple record skip that could be forgotten in a moment, the needle went so hard over the record that it cracked right through. "You're in the wrong place," she said in Japanese.
