I finished this book a few days ago and I HIGHLY recommend it. The author endeavors not only to uncover the cruelty Henrietta Lacks and her family faced, but also who she was as an individual. If you’re looking for a book to read for #BlackHistoryMonth, this is a good one.

#Dogs in #Baja 🐶🌵
A brown and white spaniel on the beach! His name is Baja, and he followed us down the beach for two hours and then went home! A golden retriever named Lexi! She was my beach neighbor :) A black lab named Cali sitting very politely on the beach. She was begging for my breakfast. An elderly chihuahua in a restaurant! She is the owner’s dog and gets lots of scraps from customers.

#November was a rough month. I got pneumonia, but goober stuck by my side thru all of it.

#September saw the second half of Gooby’s Canada trip!

There were so many options for #July. These four were all from one camping trip.
