Thanks, Diana!

So glad you found it interesting!

It's a fascinating topic with a lot of depth

Great question!

I think heavy-handed rules would just slow innovation without stopping bad actors.

Better detection and transparency (like GitHub flagging suspicious packages) seems more effective.

That's awesome! Linguistics and security have so much more in common than people realize as both are about understanding patterns and structure

Thanks, Karanveer! Really appreciate that 👊

Thanks so much, Avanish! That's exactly it

The future isn't about hiding everything behind layers of obfuscation.

It's about being open about what you're doing while making it hard to exploit HOW you're doing it.

Thanks Avanish! Glad you enjoyed it! Those old techniques were definitely more imaginative

Yep totally agree, Uncharted 2 is also one of my favourite games and it was a massive improvement over the first game, especially with the better combat mechanics and better character development

I've learned it's not about hiding what your code does anymore.

it's about protecting HOW it does it while staying transparent.

Security researchers are now saying that obfuscation alone isn't enough anymore. GitHub now flags heavily obfuscated packages as suspicious.

I had to completely rethink my approach.

Awesome video. 👌

I guess we just need to put our phones down...

so easy to say yet so hard when everyone around seems like they are constantly online. 😢

Haha, whoops 😅

maybe I'm just projecting my own nerdy childhood!

You're probably right that it's more of a specific personality type.

Thanks for watching!

Absolutely - it's about raising the bar, not making it impossible.

One layer among many in a good security strategy.
