2025 #anime FRAGRANT FLOWER BLOOMS WITH DIGNITY is quite the slow burn at first but quickly pulls you in by episode 3. I love the agency in each character. Such a gentle story about love, learning to withhold judgment, and friendship! One of my favorites from 2025! 【8.5/10 ⭐️】

Though I did not feel like the villains were anywhere close to the ungodly All For One, #anime MHA: YOU'RE NEXT (2024) was still very enjoyable. The action was phenomenally animated & illustrated. The contrast between Anna & Guilio's soft & hard dynamic is romantic but not overly indulgent.【10/10 ⭐️】

JIANG ZIYA is one of the most incredibly animated films I’ve ever watched. It reimagines the mythology of the Chinese military general, centering the theme of humanity. Stunning 3D renderings w/ mesmerizing battle sequences! Most importantly, the studio knows how to tell a good story. 【10/10 ⭐️】

Finally finished BUCCHIGIRI?! I was bored by episode 4, and then it got worse until Matakara turned into Dark Matakara. Overall, a nicely animated series, but the story was very lacking with characters that have minimal depth (except Matakara). The ending also felt rushed.

WOLF CHILDREN is one of my favorite #anime films of all time. It’s about motherhood, identity, siblinghood, community, and the art of letting go. I first watched this film in 2013, and today I got to relive the mastery of this Mamoru Hosoda film (in 4K) in theater. 【♾️/10 ⭐️】
Finally starting #anime BUCCHIGIRI?! and it seems to rival WIND BREAKER in theme. This series seems to focus on pacing & art style more than character design. I’m enjoying it so far; a bit of a silly weekend watch for me.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from #anime FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD—and I ended up loving every minute of it. Very fitting for the times now, as it grapples with the theme of gen0cide. Women mangakas are superior!! 【10/10 ⭐️ 】

HONEY LEMON SODA is beautifully illustrated but weakly animated, with a slow story development and mediocre characters. The end of S1 is cute but not too memorable. TLDR: Both MCs simply needed to communicate better. 【5.5/10 ⭐️】#anime

My sister and I finished all three seasons of FRUITS BASKET (2021) this month. As much as this series was so problematic, we loved the plot, character development, and 13-zodiac lore. The final season tugged at our heartstrings, as our favorite couple finally get their happy ending. 【10/10 ⭐️】

Season 1 of FRUITS BASKET is pretty slow-paced, but every reveal of each character’s zodiac is so memorable. Now I understand why there’s such a huge fandom of this shojou series/manga. These characters are fun to watch! Currently watching season 2. 【8/10 ⭐️】

#kdrama GANGNAM B-SIDE is a retelling of the Burning Sun scandal but effectively emphasizes the voices of the women who were trafficked in Gangnam, Seoul. BIBI gave the best performance in a selfless, intelligent character. If you’re into action-thrillers, this is worth the wild ride. 【10/10 ⭐️】
