I think its also helpful to show this opinion polling graph, since its subject to wild swings, depending on who's president

Stupid question: Why does the LRT have a very different speed than the design speed as per the EA of 22km/hr?
October 31, 2025 at 12:52 AM

October 1, 2025 at 11:35 AM
At the same time, Stephen Gordon did point out that that sector generate way more $$$ per hour worked
October 1, 2025 at 10:38 AM

I will say that a large part of the issue of our economy is our reluctance towards resource based economy. There's no shame in being hewers of mineral, especially if it pays way more than other sectors, and the money can be used to buy heat pumps, EVs, and transit.

June 3, 2025 at 5:25 AM
Its kinda hard to agrue when economists often points that Canada oil and gas have better labour productivity
June 3, 2025 at 5:18 AM
I think the answer is simple. There's more money to be made in oil than in tech.
June 2, 2025 at 8:54 PM
The other half is the oil pay so much more
June 2, 2025 at 1:16 PM
Our economist Stephen Gordon did point out that GDP per hour work is way higher in oil and gas.
June 2, 2025 at 1:15 PM

Bubble zones on public property are bad. But seriously though, it's one of the few things that make everyone into hypocrites...
