I read them all. My father bought me an entire set at a church auction. I had 50 cents and he'd stopped me from bidding on a grand piano because he said I'd win and then he'd have to move it. The books were my consolation prize.
The first book in "The Hardy Boys" series titled "The Tower Treasure" showing to teenage boys looking back anxiously at a light shining from an old tower which was part of an old building.
