To be fair, the team is opening a new practice facility next season, although I’m pretty sure the league mandated that they build one.

I can get behind retractable roof stadiums, since most of our winters will soon be much more polar vortexy, but I hate the idea of playing in a bunch of monolithic, taxpayer supported boondoggles.

I feel like schools like Cal, Stanford, and several others who probably aren’t willing to play the long game on NIL will eventually drop down to an FCS caliber level of football. Which is totally fine.
