One more tip is that the Palma is almost exactly the same dimensions as the older 6.7” iPhones like the 15 Pro Max, so a lot of sleeve or bag style cases for that phone will fit, if you don’t keep a case on it.

I just bought a Palma 2 (really only different in that it has fingerprint unlock and costs more lol) and it’s been pretty great for manga.

Nice. I can’t quite justify the price for my SE but these are awesome. I wish I could grab one to go with my prison TV, soundsticks, and clear(ish) Super Famicom

Finally finished my rewatch of seasons 1 and 2 of Kimi ni Todoke, and watched the new (!) season 3, and man, it's nice to have something NICE. It was the anime that made me fall in love with shojo when I watched it over 10 years ago, and getting a new season after so long was such a gift.

Finally finished my rewatch of seasons 1 and 2 of Kimi ni Todoke, and watched the new (!) season 3, and man, it's nice to have something NICE. It was the anime that made me fall in love with shojo when I watched it over 10 years ago, and getting a new season after so long was such a gift.
God I love when they put this shit right on the Steam Page. Wishlisted, and I can't wait.

Apropos of nothing, I've been watching "From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!" and it's one of the funniest and most adorable anime I've seen in a while. A 52 year old salary-man dies and is reincarnated as the villainess of an otome game, and just completely rolls with it.

I’ve always wanted to use this vintage Power Center with my retro computing setup but the 40 year old neon bulbs in the switches had developed an annoying flicker. Someone on Reddit recently posted a replacement part number, so I guess I’m about to become a power strip hobbyist.

I don’t know how under appreciated it is but I think Tokyo Godfathers is the perfect Christmas movie.
On Christmas Eve, three homeless people (an alcoholic, a trans woman, and a teenage runaway) find a baby in the trash and set out to find her parents. A modern day manger story. Funny and moving.

FYI I’ve added an SSD, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, and installed Bazzite, and the performance is much improved. 2D indies and some low end 3D play great without blasting the fan. Haven’t pushed it much further than that yet. Liking it for emulation and retro style games.

Success! It ain’t a powerhouse but it runs the only game that matters just fine and it looks cool doing it
