I've really enjoyed the whole season so far, but damn that final scene in the first episode between Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden has been stuck in my head since I first watched it. Just an insanely well-done scene. Acting, writing, everything.

Hey @jamesgunn.bsky.social, are their uniforms going to be practical like Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner? Or is that classified info?

I miss video stores so much. Digital stores and libraries just aren't the same.

Just let me live out the stories from all my favorite universes and worlds (even some of my own). Should take a couple eternities for me to get bored then.

Already did this twice this week, so you're doing good. Just ignore those pesky self-deprecating thoughts and push through.

Or put some time aside and meditate.

Results may vary.

It's incredibly depressing to just feel tapped out. Like all you had in the creative gas tank is gone. The end of last year and the first week of January have been like that for me, but I think I'm finally inching my way forward again.

Sending good vibes your way.

"How am I supposed to focus on the story when I can't stop undressing all these characters in my mind?"

I have a terrible habit of not being able to just DNF a book. I overcommit myself to finishing even when it's a slog, and it tends to make it take longer for me to finish. Been on a sci-fi book that started strong, but months later I have about a fourth left and it's just...ugh.

I gotta do better.

I think it's just a thing that happens with writers and even voracious readers. You've been through so many narratives before, so your brain wants to piece the puzzle together early. My wife and I tend to do it a lot, guessing what narrative path fits character arcs and the story's tone.
