My wife had MS. When she realized that a scooter and later on (much later) her power wheelchair opened up whole different world. :-)

The day after my wife passed away my Ragamuffin jumped into my bed, (no easy task for a Ragamuffin), I awakened with his paw on my hand. I moved my hand away, he reached out and did it again.
