We already know how Trump likes to re-write history. The Epstein re-write may be far enough along to stand up to scrutiny, hence the turnaround. Or at least, he thinks so.

Jeffrey Epstein was a conduit, a facilitator, a "scrounger". But apart from "the girls", we don't know what else he was trading?

In the pretzel logic of the Hegsethorized Pentagon, small speedboats that may or may not be carrying Colombian cocaine, are enemy combatants subject to lethal force because they pose a threat, but it's not warfare because they are defenseless. And a prextext for assault on Venezuela (oilfields).

Of course. These trends have been in the works for decades, what Huxley and Orwell warned us about. But this technological triad - Artificial Intelligence, robotics, virtual reality - are peaking all at once. We haven't begun to consider the consequences.

The nightmare scenario is the 'surveillance state', AI and facial-regognition databases eliminate rights of privacy in the name of fighting crime. AI & robotics replace millions of jobs, workers retreat into virtual-reality coccoons. Isolation. Conformity. Control.

After the supposedly misleading editing of Kamala Harris by "60 Minutes" that led to the $16 million settlement, Trump was fine with their editing out his own meandering gibberish.

Scarier still: ICE and CBP are now using "Mobile Fortify" facial-recognition software to instantly determine identity, citizenship and immigration status in randon stops of civilians.

It's the obligation of media to inform, not to just take temperatures.

NOTE: There will be no further wearing of jungle camo in an urban-warfare setting. You are conspicuous as mobile shrubberies.
