Train Ferry Bridge, Harwich.

The Linkspan bridge, Harwich. Original used in Southampton was shipped on a barge and erected in Harwich in 1923. Not used since 1987 and now in a sorry state.

Lt Cyril George Phillibrown.
111 Siege Bty, RGA.

Cyril was the son of George and Mary of 'The Police Station', Clacton of Sea. He was 19 years old and died on this day in 1917.

Now remembered on the Upper Dovercourt Memorial, and Tincourt New British Cemetery.
