Sketch of humanoid Secretary Bird next to images of their real life counterparts. In this world the secretary birds still eat snakes much like their real world counter-parts, the only difference is that these snakes are as poisonous as they are venomous. Luckily the Secretary birds have developed a natural tolerance to this poison, and simply sleep it off in most cases similar to the real world honey badger who is able to sleep off snake venom. Like most other birds in this world they are able to retract and expand their flight feathers in order to fly, although they normally prefer to walk from place to place instead. For this particular fellow the side effects of eating the poisonous snakes are rather unconventional, as they cause mild hallucinations and dizziness instead of the usual lethargy.
