Children closes out the first trilogy. Then yea things get weird so you stick or twist. But Children is the same character set so Alia, Paul’s mother and his two children etc. it’s much longer than Messiah but not as difficult imho. But if you’re not hooked and don’t feel the need I won’t judge 😉

I keep trying with the SF version of Ian Banks - 3 of the novels and a short story collection - but I miss the sense of SF Opera I got with the Dune novels. I know it’s not what he was going for but still means I end up admiring instead of loving them
