I don't know.... that T-Rex scene with the kids was pretty terrifying. It doesn't make up for the comical lack of spatial awareness during the electrified fence scene, though, but that wasn't until later.

It's a must watch for any navy/sub movie fan. I would suggest the DC and in German with subtitles if you have the opportunity.

Many a toast and bags of rice were thrown for several late night showings of this classic.
If you can, I highly recommend finding a late night showing at a theater. The movie on its own is decent, but it's the experience of seeing it with a regular crowd that really shows how legendary it is.

It's a cool thing to experience as a child. But over the years it's just a hassle, and for what? It's already getting dark in the evening 2hr earlier. Soon one day it'll feel like there's some day left, the next it'll be gone. Too abrupt a change anymore.

"Lose an hour" is just a summation. And I can't reset my daily routine to a new schedule with one Sunday afternoon nap, even in Fall when we gain the hour back. I'd gladly take the biggest nap on a Sunday if it means never having to change again after that.

I just want the switching to stop. I'd prefer Summer hours all year, but I don't care either way. Just choose a standard and stick with it. It gets more difficult with each switch as I age. Spring ahead, lose an hour of sleep. Fall back, dark by 5pm. Sucks each time and I'm over it.

He was one of those actors that always just showed up out of nowhere, and never gave a bad performance. Just watched Maverick today in which he plays a small part. But I remember best from Dances With Wolves and Die Hard with a Vengeance. 73 is too soon. Find Ozzy and smoke that peace pipe, my man.

I mean, they spent 37 minutes just driving, I mean taxing, the plane. Might as well have just rolled it down the streets like a huge taxi.
