Big events like the stuff in NYC or major international shows sometimes feel like a moment, but most of it all just is under the rug

It feels that way and honestly my opinion is that the promotions themselves should shoulder that blame

Feels like either the same promotion tactics don't work like they used to or they're reaching less people on social media actually interested in watching.

Idk if it's just me but it feels like either combat sport promotions [especially in MMA] are WAY LESS concerned about spending on promotional materials, or it's the same but it's reach is less effective.
