If you go out into the world with curious amazement and sincere gramercy, the world will eventually greet you with the same attributes. One of the best parts of opening your heart & mind to any exploration is the coming home to yourself. 🫶🏻

Reading Alan Watts reminds me that the stuff we swear #matters is usually just mental static pretending to be signal. The Way of Zen drops this gentle bomb: the moment you stop narrating your life, you start actually living it.

One key question: what do we need to create stable and decent human communities that can thrive in a sustainable relationship with the larger living world? We need a radical feminist challenge and an uncompromising rejection of men's assertion of a right to control those who identify as female.✌️

It’s a mild November Sunday afternoon, and a cyclist pedals away into the lengthening shadows along Wilmington’s Front Street. Behind them, out of frame, a homeless mom and her two girls scurry across the street carrying everything they own. #fujifilmxt1 #streetphotography #streetlife

The late-afternoon lull along Wilmington’s Front Street: People and dogs get in their steps and take a breath before the rush begins. What thoughts ignite as the sky dims?

It wasn’t at all obvious. Yes, the paved road ended at old man Muller’s mailbox, yes, but from there a path wide enough for, say, a WWII-era Jeep curved off into the woods. We were just kids. For us, that way lie a new age of exploration. #vsspic

I think this is a worthwhile prompt vehicle. I hope it’s resurrected at some point.
It has been a nice ride. But given the lack of interest in our little prompt, the end has arrived. You won’t have #vsspic around to ignore anymore!

But keep writing. There are plenty of things to take inspiration from. Thanks for the memories.
