Never forget AI is not "creative". For example, image generators can't show you a wine glass that is full to the brim and spilling over - because online, all wine glasses are half-full.

My attempts using different generative AI:

Is there a word (possibly Japanese?) to describe the small frisson of joy I get every time I pick up or use this really well-designed cutlery I bought before Christmas?

Or am I an extreme saddo? Help me out here 😄

It is magnificent. In the same spirit, let me contribute this more recent one from the pages of the Grauniad

Yves - I Did. Ex Loona alumnus goes in a completely different direction to her former band mates and goes full dance. All killers, no fillers on this. I'll add more good stuff later today (when I can be arsed)

Songs of a Lost World - the Cure. Still got it. It really is the proper follow up to Disintegration, with big anthemic songs throughout.

Looking at any Reach website reminds me of the scene in Ready Player One where the villain says,"We can sell 80%of their visual field without inducing seizures"

I've just been chatting with a colleague about films guaranteed to ACTUALLY get the whole family sitting down together at Christmas.
My offspring baulk at Galaxy Quest, but gradually appear at my side on the sofa and laugh at every joke.
What are yours? #Filmsky

This has been left in the office kitchen.
I'd just like to say to whoever left it there -you do realise, the sheer folly of leaving it next to a newsroom full of hungry journalists? I give it 10 mins, tops.

I know what's been missing from my BlueSky experience so far - cute doggos.

Here's my refined elderly dog Lily. Ask me sometime about how she got her name.

I'd love to see your dogs too

An old meme, but still relevant:

A Brian Bilston Poem that still makes me laugh - and MUST be read to the tune of Pulp's "Common People"...

As a *vintage* broadcast journalist, I still have the muscle memory of editing reel to reel tape. This is the start of one of my short stories, Static, a folk horror with Yewtree influences set in a rural commercial radio station in the 1990s. Enjoy! #Author #Writesky #Booksky

Okay #Booksky - here's the opening of my novel, Bucket List Island, about two dog walkers who go on the run after finding 23 bags full of drugs and money washed up on a beach. Tracy is a chain smoking compulsive liar who might have been an 80s pop star, Manesh is a despondent 20 something. Enjoy!
