Follow-up to yesterdays demo; Using another power supply I drove the drill press at 12v 3 amps and it did not bog down anymore, and it also did not burn up. Motor case got a tiny bit warm, but no damage.

A mini drill press from Innocraftsman. I wanted to try it, since it can certainly be a little more handy than firing up my big press for small work.

Straightforward kit, nothing to challenging to assemble. Probably a 2nd or 3rd kit.
It works OK, not great. Takes quite a clap to get it to toggle, and there is a noticeable delay between clapping and the processor noticing it’s a clap.

Straightforward kit, nothing to challenging to assemble. Probably a 2nd or 3rd kit.
It works OK, not great. Takes quite a clap to get it to toggle, and there is a noticeable delay between clapping and the processor noticing it’s a clap.
