#Halisky I just finished designing these 8X12 posters as an homage to the commuters who walk, roll, bike and bus everywhere! Every day, thousands of commuters in the city get around without using a car.

This subject is close to my heart, as someone who doesn't own a car and commutes by ebike.

Back in 2019, one of my first illustrations was this cosmic turtle. I had just decided I wanted to begin the long journey of making art full-time, and I sold the original to a dear friend.

I'm about to start selling stickers with this design, so I figured it was time for a redraw!

Last night I hosted a blanket fort party and it was a wholeass VIBE. Real "conversation pit" energy. The blanket fort, it has been decided, will stay up all week.

I've been getting really really good at making homemade ramen from scratch. Marinating soy eggs for 2 days in the fridge, braising pork belly, and simmering broth on the stove for hours. Behold!!

As much as I hate AI, I'm really not worried it's going to take my design job. AI can't *strategize,* a key element in doing small biz branding.

And I'm noticing that new clients are turning to AI to iterate ideas -- and then coming to me to take what they liked and develop it.
