Starting a much needed break from that billionaire’s space. And that one’s too. Maybe even a third one’s. Moved shortcuts to different spaces. Found my finger clicking without even thinking. Muscle memory. Starting to realize my habits run unhealthily levels deep.

In a divine twist of timing, I finished a sweater today that I started in November AND the yarn for a new project arrived in my mailbox. So yes, onwards! Knitting a fashion piece with 2 strands of alpaca/wool yarn at once. 75 cabled cast on stitches done on my way to 250. #knitting #andor

How Winter can turn my yard into a black and white photo never ceases to mesmerize me.

To cope with the unknown and potentially horrible things to come in 2025, I have thrown myself into making small bits of art. I’ll have about 16 of these done to send by this weekend. Something feels right about sending handmade love to special folks.

I’m here. I think I’ll be using this platform primarily for my art and other musings. That may change.

Slowly aging out is damn weird. (cue future skeet on generation defs) Trying to decide what’s worth the effort becomes more complex. My time is now more valuable. Top on my ‘how much effort do I allocate’ list is AI. What parts to embrace, what parts to diss? Feels like I should know the enemy.

I cannot state enough how important it is to report things that make you uncomfortable or feel generally "icky" to CoCC/Community teams. Even if you don't want anything to happen _right now_.

I promise you, you're not the only one over time. If we can't track trends, it's so much harder to help.

Still poking around here to see what's what, I'd like to have something worthwhile/interesting to contribute. It's always weird figuring out your voice in a new space. It's remarkably hard to feel relevant when I'm sitting on my front porch in the sun with my shepherds just quietly existing.
