We are here for a mere moment in time but our decisions today impact future generations. Let us yield our power with great liberty.

A death of a society will never be painless. But with death comes rebirth and we must bravely hold onto the belief that we can do better. As we say goodbye to a society that never made space for some of us, let us build a community that serves all of us.

I see her as a symbol of protection + a shape shifter. Watching over the many MMIW. Granting blessings to those who carry good medicine in their hearts and seeking justice for those who have been harmed. A delicate balance of love + vengeance.

She punishes men who harm women. Luring them to the woods to trample them.

Her story often depicts her as the mortal victim of a savage rape. Her body found in the woods next to a sleeping fawn, who comforted her so she would not die alone. Her assailants went unpunished, so her wish for Justice was granted, and she was reborn as half human + half deer.

Let her adorn your altar + space. May she protect + bless those with good intentions and may she trample all beings who harm others, especially those in positions of power. Look out for your community in all ways, always.

Death herself holds no judgements. She cares for all, especially the most vulnerable. This is a humble offering to provide more funds to places who are supporting the most vulnerable people. Because no one is illegal on stolen land. May she protect us all.

25% of the sales will be donated to @borderkindness. Border Kindess is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation based out of El Centro, CA. They provide asylum-seekers, migrants, refugees, and the displaced with food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and legal services.
