I can only imagine what they went through to make them believe that this is better and how much they needed to bottle up that is now just fully uncontrollable. I don't quite know why they are acting the way they are but I try to show empathy because that is what they deserve

We have someone somewhat like that too but it feels like they actively are resenting us on a personal level at times without any reason other than not letting them "fix" things and it's hard sometimes to take a step back and work with empathy especially when they pick on the little again but
