When I had the option to buy my Clipper playoff tickets, the Clippers were in a bad way and had been on a pretty bad losing streak. I opted out and sent a note saying, "Based on what I see, we're not going very deep. I'd rather not waste money on the playoffs and instead pay towards the new arena"
