Read "Galaxy the Prettiest Star" tonight. And it just really hit me how much I've lost. What was stolen from me by my failing body and a callous country that could have helped but wouldn't.

1) Supergirl
2) Roots of Madness
3) Absolute Martian Manhunter
4) Uncanny X-Men
5) Ultimate Spider-Man
Really they could be in any order, but these were some of the best comics of the year in my eyes. If I had to expand the list I could hit 10 easily but keeping it short.

Way to fuck up a launch you knew was coming for like 6 months. Feels awesome walking out of my local shop with a shoulder shrug of 'yeah you may get your issue maybe'. Not mad at the shop they're awesome. Just mad/disappointed in Marvel.

Finished Dan Brereton's second "Nocturnals" omnibus tonight. I just really love this world. Eve reminds me of the good from my childhood as a kid who was obsessed with Halloween and traditional monsters. Hope I get to read more in this setting.

Feel like my whole pull list was pretty good this week. Really the only good thing in my life hah. And I'm absolutely stressed over the WB sale thing as I'm sure anything good DC is doing will be ruined. Hate this timeline.

Age of Revelation is winding down and the first batch of #3/3 came out this week.
-Binary: Loved the art and character designs. Was a good ending to this run.
-Laura Kinney: it's trauma all the way down.
-Amazing X-Men: Even the class clown can get gritty.

Finished The Nocturnals Omnibus #1. Just love these characters. Halloween Girl reminds me of the little good in my childhood as a Halloween obsessed child. The arts just so good too with interesting stories.

Did a lot of digging in my comic shops 25 cent boxes Wed and Fri. Feel like I could have done a better job and missed stuff. So temping to hit it again tomorrow *just in case* but that seems like overkill. Notable grabs was a signed copy of X-Factor vol 1 #71 and like 30 issues of of Alpha Flight.

Absolute Batman Annual 2025 was really good.

Finally caught up on Absolute Batman as my missing issues came in this week. Jeez just jeez. Parts of issue 12 made me roll my eyes even if it made sense. The ammo clip tail on Catwoman was cool. Also those terrifying takes on characters we see in issue 10 I believe it is.

Watching a game with the Bills in it just means you're getting Josh Allen Cam. He's on screen more than the coaches.

"No Place" #1 was great. The world building is really interesting.
"Roots of Madness" #2 keeps the suspense rolling. The way it builds cosmic horror is really well done.
