Alt-rock songstress RAVEN QUINN will release her brand new single “It’s No Good”, a heavy guitar-driven reimagining of the DEPECHE MODE classic, to all major streaming and digital music services worldwide on February 18th, 2025. A stunning music video for “It’s No Good” will follow, debuting on VEVO and YouTube February 25th, 2025.  The release of “It’s No Good” will kick off the rollout of her new concept album “Masquerade in the Underground”. The single will be accompanied by the haunting spoken word album intro “Origins”, which lays the groundwork for the album’s dark fairytale narrative. Together, “It’s No Good” and “Origins” will introduce the listener to the album’s narrator: an ancient faerie queen with a penchant for spiriting humans away to her eternal masquerade ball in the Underground. Each track from the album will be released “episodically” on a monthly basis throughout 2025, with the full album concluding in the Fall. Quinn says the creative approach to realizing the album’s sprawling concept was, “to imagine this album as if it were a carefully compiled film soundtrack. Each song, whether it be a new original or a cover, was either specifically written or thoughtfully selected to express a chapter in the story that has been playing out in my head for years.”  Both the single “It’s No Good” and the album “Masquerade in the Underground” are the latest result of a musical partnership forged in 2007 between Quinn and Juno award-winning and Grammy nominated producer/engineer DAN BRODBECK (DOLORES O’RIORDAN, THE CRANBERRIES). The new material showcases a distinct evolution within the unique sound Quinn and Brodbeck have honed together over the years, pushing further into their most aggressive rock output yet.  The accompanying music video for “It’s No Good” was shot, directed, and edited by acclaimed indie filmmaker KARL PFEIFFER (Hellier, The Unbinding) and was produced and conceptualized by Raven Quinn.
