Was that was a thought that the creative team had in their minds while creating Raven as a character and fleshing out her arc with Trigon?

Being able to interpret Raven's character this way means a lot to me. Her conflict with Trigon and her struggle to rebuild herself after escaping him is extremely meaningful, and is part of why I love her character so much. I was wondering if any of the sexual abuse subtext was intentional.
