Medical debt= leading cause of bankruptcy in the United States.

Solution:
1) Amend constitution to include a base level of guaranteed right to free healthcare for all citizens
2) Single payer system, with privatized option**I see you, capitalists ;)
It’s important to distinguish screening from confirmatory drug testing. Screens are rapid immunoassays that are sensitive, so a positive result is only presumptive and can reflect cross-reactivity. Confirmatory tests (GC-MS) are definitive. In many setting, a positive screen triggers confirmation.

Unfortunately, it’s now more important than ever to be teaching these topics (to the public and medical professionals).

Mark, you can have some great responses on this post (some not so great). Will also include Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), an organization of physicians dedicated to this. pnhp.org

What do you propose? Having more stringent punishments isn’t always the answer… In California, impaired driving accounts for about 30% of traffic deaths; in Texas, the proportion is higher (~37-40%) according to several sources. Guess which state is more strict?

Just mark “yes” next to the high risk medical condition section. Sucks that it has come to this but I’m getting the vaccine no matter what…

When did Mark Cuban say that?

Doesn’t matter who is running HHS now. What matters pushing a proposal like this through whenever we have a chance to set a new standard. No matter who is running HHS, a major shift from what we have now to M4All will come with issues and growing pains.
