It is time to be doing, to bring plans to fruition. To declare intent and ask the community for support. What do you want to achieve? What have you done towards that goal; what do you need to initiate now? Summer is here; time to grow.

Can you feel the tension in the air? There is so much fear and divisive rhetoric being shouted at us. We forget how to trust, to build community, to connect. In this season let us grow towards each other rather than further apart. Together we are stronger than fear or division.

We cannot reap what we do not first sow. What seeds will you allow to take root in your heart this planting season?
Weed out the seeds of fear and suspicion so that your heart may nurture the seeds of compassion and community. It is by these virtues we as a people will grow and thrive.

Propaganda rhetoric designed to divide and isolate is increasing. Do not rise to the bait. What advantage do they gain by flaming reactionary patriotism? It is by remaining united with our neighbours, locally and internationally, that we will defeat the rising Fascism of our times. Stay united.

I've been thinking about despair, and how it's really a conceit of privilege. To despair needs a luxury of time, and the hubris to believe we know what will happen.
We don't know what will happen, and we don't have time to despair. We can only act now, with hope. There is always hope.

On this journey we call life, we are both insignificantly small and vitally essential. The universe is so vast it can feel pointless to act; what change can we possibly affect?
But even so, even so, we are called to act. Like the wings of a butterfly, beat against the oppression of our age.
