77 years a husband, a Sunday School teacher, farmer, humanitarian, building houses for Habitat for Humanity, a civil rights champion and all around shining example of loving thy neighbor.

I am so grateful I live in the woods. When everything is too much, I just walk out my back door. I need to do it more often.

I remember when my ex-husband asked for my forgiveness. He broke down crying, telling me what an amazing person I was, that he knew he didn't deserve my friendship but could find it in my heart to forgive him. I told him, "I forgave you a long time ago. Now you need to forgive yourself"

What's so hard to understand about this?
