Thanks for posting this! I was just there learning about the Saltville Massacre. The museum is great. So much history in this area. I was disappointed to see this sign, and realize this is the only history some care about

One year ago today, my boys were fishing in the middle of a peaceful Swannanoa River. On September 23, the level was 1.44 feet, about what it was in this photo. On September 27, it was 27.33 feet. Imagine water 20 feet over their heads
