I remember so many years ago getting a few Holbein oil pastel sticks for almost $3 a stick... I decided to check their price as of recent and it's almost $7 for openstock sticks now. Can't say I'm surprised with the cost of their watermixable oil set. I'm afraid to look though.

Ran out of text room...anyway, they seem to work just as fine, but I want to try their Artist grade to form a better opinion.

Maybe it depends on brands. I've tried Winsor & Newton over a decade ago & it wasn't easy to squeeze out the tube (maybe I had a defective set). The Cobra Study I've acquired recently seems alright. It just has less pigment (student grade). I ordered the Artist line recently. I'll see how that goes.
