Stardew isn't really a sandbox where you plan your own activities. Like I did just cut trees and farm for 2 hours, but it I want to progress (sprinklers) I need to engage with the mine-delving minigame.
I guess there is co-op, but then I'd deal with my day taking 5 minutes, while my friend's is 30
