Since Hillary, I have not been enamored of Comey...but when a "president" targets an individual, bringing a full government against "and emeny"...ABUSE OF POWER. But did The Felon step over the line on this? The DOJ is the Deep State. How this plays out will define our future.

I might be misinformed, but it seems that those registered as Independents form a plurality. So Democrats have an opportunity to enthused them; if the Democrats do something that will draw them in. Otherwise they will stay home as neither party as of now interests them.

Today Jews observe Tisha B'Av, the 9th day of the month of Av...a fast day; a day of mourning recalling the destruction of The Temple and being forced into exile. We mourn, but also learn. So, Gaza...Hostages...starvation...horrors of October 7th...suffering of the innocent non-combatants.

In 50 years as a pulpit rabbi ( full disclosure: liberal Democrat) I never endorsed any party or candidate. My only right was to offer "the Jewish response" to issues and then "my people" could make their own informed choices.

I've now watched Morning Joe for 1 1/2 hours. The reporting concerning flood response and the danger of the BBB has not yet mentioned DonnieFelon, who is responsible.
