He could & should be judged for failure to get any type of results against Fulham, Burnley & Forest rather than the Villa & Citeh games. Any PL manager with 1 win in 8 would be under intense scrutiny.

He has to find a way to climb out of the relegation places. If not the inevitable panic from 49ers about the plummeting value of their asset demands change.

I’m not opposed to changing the manager but the Rangers situation should give us cause for concern. They allowed it to go on too long & yet had no clear succession plan when they eventually pulled the trigger. It’s not all on Farke, recruitment was poor

Hmmm, pretty sure both were on the wish list. We’ve an inexperienced recruitment team & a week from pre season we’ve strengthened in one position. Starting GK, LB, CM & CF are the minimum needed.

You might want to lower those expectations. Gazumped twice in a week by Sunderland who we had a months head start on doesn’t bode well.

I’m old enough to recall finishing 4th in our 1st season & being champions in the 2nd after promotion. We weren’t a complete outlier Wednesday were 3rd. Those days are long gone without state funding.
