Been done with Tarantino for a long time, especially after his massive support for the IDF in recent years.

Don't support this zionist's work.

Excellent movie! So glad I was able to see @realgdt.bsky.social newest movie in a theater.

Powerful and heartwarming. Bravo!

Thank you for this @mskellymhayes.bsky.social and @akpress.org (and also @prisonculture.bsky.social for pointing your followers to the pre-order page)

We need books like this to help us navigate through these chaotic times.

Really liked this week's episode of SPY X FAMILY

I also had to get their book, Tsunami. Also grateful for their autographs!

One of my favorite panels was with Marina Azahua, Gabriela Jauregui and Sara Uribe. They discussed the creation of their anthology book, 'TSUNAMI' & covered many topics that define the rapidly growing feminist wave. Gender violence,
Power & Systematic Opression, Colonialism, Liberation & more.

I had to get their books and signatures!

Argentine writer Michel Nieva (center) talking about coining the word 'Guacho Punk' while discussing his book, 'Dengue Boy'. On the left side of the pic is moderator Carmen Álvarez and on the right is famed Argentine writer, Gabriela Cabezón Cámara.

Part 2

I'll post a small part of Bocafloja's panel. Though due to Bluesky's video size limit, I have to cut it up in 3 parts:
Part 1

My favorite panel was with Paula Cuéllar conversing with Bocafloja.

I will admit that my knowledge of hip hop is poor but I was immersed on how this artist uses poetry, music & film to help bring solidarity & address racism, colonialism & social injustice.

I had to get a signed book from him.

Day 2 of the Hay Festival Forum was busy, I wish I could attend them all.

One panel of note was with moderator, Paola Nagovitch conversing with Dominican American author, Junot Díaz. It was an interesting insight into the author's mind as he talked about diaspora, the political landscape & more

It wasn't until later on that I was able to play more games but some of my favorites: (especially every Mega Man game 💙)
October 18, 2025 at 7:54 PM
I ended up getting a copy of one of his latest books, WAR ON GAZA, which doesn't hold back on criticism on Israel and Biden's administration complicity on the genocide against Palestinians.

Attended Day 1 of the Hay Festival Forum! The 1st panel was with journalist/graphic artist Joe Sacco & Guardian columnist Arwa Mahdawi. Such a great conversation on Sacco's personal journey into journalism, comics as a medium & their power to tell the truth, especially when covering injustice.
