The scary side of the “people aren’t having children” debate is that the people who are vocal about having children are not vaccinating them, unschooling them, and birthing them dangerously. Child abuse is being normalized among new parents.

Don’t let anyone tell you Twitter is better than Bluesky. The only good thing about it is that certain mutuals still use it. Otherwise, all you’ll see is propagandists, grifters, rage bait, conspiracies, and negativity.

Since I've come on home
Well, my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over?
Stop makin' a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over,
Wilde Nick?

Joyce Carol Oates was epically posting about how movies don’t change your life and that your life is empty if it was changed by a movie.
Good trolling, madame, but I can appreciate that my life is a little better thanks to a movie.

2024 hot 100 year end ranked! No beating around the bush this was the best year for pop music in a very long time. So many artists at the very top of their game, both artistically and commercially, and pop music hasn't felt as relevant as it did in 2024 in decades. Incredible year

Apologies for the jarring shift in tone, but I’m profoundly saddened and shocked about Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer. RIP to both. This was not how you were meant to go. May God have you in his glory.

I was never in love with the ship name “WildeHopps”. Yes, it’s uniquely identifiable, but it sounds too formal. For a time fans tried using the uncomfortable “Nickudy.” I’m a partisan of “Junick.”

Zootopia 2 takes a lot of cues from Monsters Inc.
Conspiracy that affects the functioning of the whole metropolis with corrupt businessmen at the helm
Broken object reconstructed by friend as a gift
Creature alien to the society, object of fear and prejudice, protected by protagonists

On Sly Stone:

The Shrek crew liked him! There are two instances of Sly and the Family Stone songs being sung in the Shrek franchise, one is Dance to the Music in Karaoke Dance Party, the other is Thank You (Falletinme Be Mice Elf Again) sung by Puss and Donkey during the Shrek the Third credits

Watching any Jacques Audiard movie, one understands that Emilia Pérez wasn’t a fluke; it’s just what he does.

I liked Dheepan.

Watching A Complete Unknown

I barely know any Dylan songs or American folk songs for that matter, but I soyed out when the drums of Lonely Woman started playing
